1967 GTX Hood Scoops

I have only one side for my GTX hood scoop(s) and am looking for other side. I know Year-One has these as a re-pop but I would like to find the originals. I was figuring someone was out there in the same boat as me with only one and wanted to get rid of other side. Mine has a little damage, but nothing not repairable. It also has the original cast piece of the front. I guess if I can not find one, I will offer this one for sale. IM me you either way, I appreciate it.

value?

If a pair of original 1967 GTX hood scoops can be found, what are they worth? Scoops, bezels... what is a fair price for originals? And for the repops?

My name is Phil, this is my first post. I had a 1964 Barracuda from 1979-1989, with a 340 crate motor (1973) in it. Too poor for a project right now, but never say never...

PostRetro, I am not sure - I would be willing to pay a couple of hundred for them, but not sure. Do you have a pair? and if so, let me know

On the fence about selling, holding out hope for a future project... for now, I just want to arrive at a value that's fair. Don't want to rip anybody off, and don't want to get ripped off myself. But yes, I have a pair of originals I "picked" years ago at a salvage yard. ~phil

1967 GTX hood scoops

Anybody?

Just searching for a value, originals in great condition.

If the bezels are going $200 for the pair, and a single sold recently for $170 plus $15 shipping...

Would I be out of line looking for $450 for a complete pair? More? Less?

I have serious medical bills to pay and need top dollar, but I want to be fair.

Any opinion respected. ~phil

Hood Scoops

PostResto AKA Phil,
OK, I was the one who bought the single on Ebay for $170, was a great buy and made a full matching set for my car. I already had one with mounting hardware and bezels. So between the two, I have a $170 into a complete set with mounting nuts and all.

As for selling them, if you need the , I would put them on Ebay starting at $450 if they are a complete set? Without the bezels and such and in fair shape $200 to 250 to start with. These are very hard to find, I think the only thing more rare for this year would be a real WO/RO hood with scoop.

Good luck and I wish the best. If I can help, please let me know, would love to.

Thanks for the input, I think I'm approximately in the right ballpark. I won't rule out eBay, but was hoping to avoid their fees.

Full disclosure: I'm missing the mounting nuts, but I think that's a minor issue.

I think it's great luck you were able to get the single, good for you!

Best regards, ~Phil

If you read the whole post, he has a full set now, got the one he needed on e-bay for 170.
