1967 Plymouth - Richard Petty Clone
OK - I would suspect this is beating a dead horse however, I am going to ask. I have a 1967 Belvedere that I want to turn into a Richard Petty clone, but I had a few questions and was looking to see if someone else has done this. The car has been tubed, gutted and caged, so I am using it for a parts car now, I bought it this way. But I figure it is to this point so might as well make a silk purse... Anyways, here are my questions - does anyone have photos of the interior and/or engine compartment, tire and wheel size? and anyone have any guidance, pointers or thoughts? I want to keep this low budget. What I have noticed is finding front end parts such as fenders is difficult for 1967 cars. Does anyone know where I can find a hood, if not original, maybe a fiber glass.
Thanks -
Edit - Should have taken pictures of it when I was back in Charlotte, wish I had now.

I've been looking online:
here is one link: http://www.hemicar.com/index.htm
http://www.hemicar.com/Tech.htm- it isn't even really a 67

Thanks - I am curious what magazine it made it in. This replica-clone is going to be the low cost version - 413 punched to 426, 8.75 rear end and made from a Belvedere that was butchered by someone else - Unless someone has a GTX they wish to spare? I have looked at many of the online photos which are great and any help is still greatly appreciated.
So - my Country Cousin hopefully will be spared. All cars are nicknamed in my household, so Country Cousin seemed to what has stuck. Better than rotting in a field, being crushed or the total expense of restoration for a 318 car.
