383 coil wiring HELP!!!

I just switched my carb and intake on my 1966 dodge polara. My problem is that I have totally forgotten how to wire my coil back up! If anyone can help me with this i would really appreciate it. I have a wire that comes from my distributor, a wire that comes off my firewall that i haven't traced yet, and my condensor. I would appreciate any help, thanks.

I assume this is a factory distributor, IE not an old Mallory or some other aftermarket. (Some of them had externally mounted condensers on the distributor.)

This is simple. The condenser mounted on the coil is nothing more than a radio noise suppression so it and the wire going to the harness goes to the coil + terminal

The wire from the distributor goes to the coil NEG terminal.

It actually would run if reversed, but the spark will be reversed, and it's hard on plug electrodes and propably would not run as well.

You're welcome. By the way you can download a free '66 Plymouth shop manual which covers most of the stuff in your car here.
