B & M shift kits / transpaks
Anyone ever do a B & M shift kit or transpak them self? I am looking at possibly doing the transpak for my 727 on my own as the instructions seem fairly straightforward (http://www.bmracing.com/s.nl/c.72308...it.A/id.354/.f), but you can't just gauge it by that. I also have it out of the car so that has got to make it that much easier as well.
Any input on this would be appreciated, as I am tired of breaking stuff.

You can do it C just stick with the directions and you will master it the first time ,, its pretty easy once you get into it ,,, like 78 says its pretty much straight forward , if something happens when you get going give me a jingle

Ok cool, I will always try something, but recently I have been breaking things, my stock oil pump, manifold bolt, and valve cover bolt, might be missing something but starting to get a little discouraged. It could be that I am getting too excited about the end product.

if the tranny is in the car, do it with it in the car. It is more of a pain to pull the tranny out, install the kit and put it back in. By the time you get the tranny out and on the bench, You could be adding fluid to the tranny and being ready to drive it.
I did mine on the ground with the tranny still in and had no problems.

oh i realized that. It sure is easier doing them with the tranny out. I was just saying that it is still easy to do it with the tranny in and that there is no point in removing the tranny just to install a shift kit.

Ok cool, next weekend is my first free weekend in a month, so we'll see if I get anything done other then catch up on lost time. It is out of the car already, and is still full of fluid so I will be addressing all fronts on this one, includng seals.
