Blower stopped working
I have a 1986 Dodge Truck 150. The blower to the heater and AC stopped working. When it started giving me a problem, I could start to turn on the ignition switch, but not start the truck and it would work. Now that doesn't work either. I unhooked the blower and ran a wire to from the battery and it works. So, what could be the problem now?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Do you have a box under your hood, with things that look like this in it (but with a black cover over the top part):
As I do not know when they started putting them in autos, from the article that I grabbed the picture from it was invented in 1835. Will see if I can find something for you.

I was looking at Rockauto to see if they listed a relay for the blower, but they didn't, however there are some switches for it, which could also be the problem.
Do you have a circuit tester? I would check to see if it is getting electricity or not, and backtrace the wiring from there.

lol my truck was doing the same thing, alright if you look at the a/c controls it has the temperature level at the top the speed to the right and at the bottom the push type buttons, if you remove the whole thing you will have to replace the bottom part, they always overheat and burn.
