I am thinking of puttiung a 440 into my 1971 Demon. I was thinking of using Schumakers mounts and headers and the 440 is a mild build (425 +/-, will let you know after dyno in a few weeks) with a 727. My concerns are these:
1. Oil pan, whiuch one will I need for clearence?
2. This has a M1 intake with 750, will I have hood clearence issues?

I am starting to brainstorm this install, who has done this and what issues have you had? What would you guys recommend. Rearend will be 8 3/4, I know the body will need to be beefed a bit with heavy torsion bars, brakes upgrades to disk -- What else

Oh, I want to use the column linkage - can I? Worked in B body upgrades, this is my first A body
