I am looking for a 1968 GTX Grille Support, or I think that is what it is called. It is the semi-flat piece of steel that goes between the hood and the grille, usually has the hood latch and hood spring attached. I have one for a 1969 but it seems they are not the same for the 1968's. Or if anyone has an idea where I might find one. Would be willing to trade the 69 one if anyone call help would be great.

Just put a new grille in a discovered this issue - didn't have one when I bought it. It had 69 fenders, grille and such, so it goes to reason they would have put the 69 support on. Trying to take it back to a 68, getting expensive and finding out parts are very hard to find.

Cazbah, at least that piece is the same for Satellite and RR as well. Contact Moparmagnate1@aol.com and I betcha he can fix you right up. Met him on another board and I've gotten a lot of parts from him, reasonable. He has a LARGE collection of cars he's parting out and a good guy to talk to. Tell him I gave you his addresss.
