MUST MUST MUST read this info on electrical probs.

If any-body has problems with the electrical system(s) on their old mopars, I suggest you should visit this website; www.madelectrical.com. ...........The information in the "ELECTRICAL TECH" section is priceless ... ..........It was eye-opening when I read it........ Especially the section labeled "brighter headlights" and most importantly for us moparites, the section labeled .................."BY-PASSING AND ELIMINATING factory, "full flow" type AMP gauges"....... Extremely enlightening. All the other info on this site is very educational too. If you read all this and understand it, you will have a much greater understanding for the charging/electrical systems in older vehicles. Also, the stuff they sell is "TOP NOTCH" and to top it all, the prices are very reasonable. Cannot say enough good about these guys.
