1949 Chrysler wheel cylinder

hey guys so i replaced the wheel cylinder on my rear wheel and the pins won’t stay straight no matter how many times i put them on. They keep going on crooked. Any suggestions.

I don't remember for sure but I believe you should have slotted pistons with that style brake shoe.
