I am strongly considering selling my 1968 Sport Satellite Convertible. My father drove this classic off the show room floor in 1968. He has been the only owner of it, and it has spent its entire life in Santa Barbara, CA. He left it to me after he passed, and I am now starting a family of my own and as much as I want to keep it, I do need some to start my new life. It has all matching, major original parts. Odometer reads 36,586 but it has been around once and stopped working 7 years ago, but since that time it has been driven very rarely. The interior has been reupholstered, and the top is not original....my father was an upholsterer and did an excellent job on these.

There is rust around the rear wheel wells, but other than that it is rust free.

It has a 383 2bbl

I have seen the values of similar cars vary a bit. Am I crazy to accept no less than 23K for it?

I would think that a nice clean example like your Fathers car would at least bring 20K. Being that's its a 383 car with a floor shift console.

Have you tried advertising it yet? I like Carsonline . The site gets a lot of traffic.
