That's nice, I would go down to Florida and get it for the right price. That is of course if the whole car looks as nice as the pictures.

Sorry If I confused everyone, Its not my car but one I am interested in buying. Hes asking 12,500.00 for it. Seems way too high for a 73. Maybe a 70 or something. I am willing to haggle just thought id test the waters with the experts and get some opinions, thanks for everyones input, Howard

it has the rallys wrong color but thats minor. i dont think thats a bad price at a car lot. car lots are usually higher than private sales, i haggle even at stores like best buy, and other specialty stores and can usually get 10% 15% off..

Actually thats a really good price for a car that nice. That is if it is as good as it looks in the pictures. I do ebay for a living, and you probably couldn't touch a car that nice on ebay for less than 13k to 15k. I have seen them go quite a bit higher than that. Infact one of my closest friends has a '74 rally chally he bought it off ebay and paid $17,500 for it! Its really sharp, but it's still a '74. A running driving project car in need of paint on ebay will run between 5k and 8k. And from the looks of that rear windsheild being so small it's an S/E which would probably bring the value of that car up. If I were you I wouldn't pass that deal up, that is if you've got the money. You might try haggling them down a bit. And just a pointer here if you get it, you should most definately take those ugly A$$ bumper guards off take some flat black paint to the grill I mean around the headlights and all (not the bezels) and the chrome piece that makes that sad face really stick out and put a T/A spoiler on it. Thats what has been done with mine, from a distance from the the front its hard to tell that is a 73 almost looks like a 70, at night with the lights on and no other lights around you can't hardly tell at all. Also I would get some of the 71 R/T side scoops I always thought that would look awesome on mine, not sure which I would like better, the ones that are on it or the 71's. That is if you are like me and just want your car to look as good as it possibly can and don't care too much about originallity. And some cragars or slots would really set it off. My car is a 73 and its in nowhere near as good of shape as that one, I have been offered 10 grand for it 4 times lol. I love it too much to let it go though, if they want it they got to pay for my feelings too lol If you wan't check out my profile pics and get an idea of what you could do with it, I mean if you don't like it being a '73. To be honest I'd much rather have a '70 also, but their are ways of making a '73 look pretty damn good. Oh keep in mind when checking out my pictures I'm getting ready to repaint mine, thats why the paint doesnt match on the hood. Although its still going to be sassy grass green, like the rest of the car, I think I accidentally got sublime green for the hood lol. Hope this helps you make your decision....

T/A spoiler: $200.00 for a good remake
Flat black spray paint: about 5 bucks a can
Clear coat to keep it from chipping: about the same

So about 210.00 more and I think you would be a TON happier with how it looks, again that is if you don't care for it being a '73

Just a heads up if you decide to take those UGLY A$$ bumper guards off(which I really encourage you to do so cause they just make the A$$ end of them look like a grandmas car lol) they can be a b!tch, I had to cut mine off with a grinder lol.

Then when your done with all that go have some good vinyl decals put on it and you will have one of the baddest looking rides in town for probably less than $500.00 on top of what you have paid for it.

Guy that owns this car is a total moron. I call the carlot the day after I see it out for sell, the salesman tells me 12,500.00. I go over to look it over today, guy tells me well the price is 12,900! So I said well WTF happened a 400.00 price increase? Then his sales manager tells me it's actually 13,500! So I was like WTF again! We get down to the nitty gritty turns out to be the owner of the car dealers, they gave me his name and address of the scuzzy dealership he was at today, I tool over there and he tells me 14,000 is his bottom line! Hahahahahahhahahaha. I told him it would be a fine place for a car dealership, someone should put one there! Morons

Sounds like he doesn't really want to sell it, or he's just trying to outbid himself. Either way, I'd walk away from it and keep looking.

what you need to do is get you a real nice lime green or plum crazy or panther pink chally or cuda and go up there and tell him you'll sell it to THEM for 12,500 and when they want to hop all over that...... you say WELLLLLLLLLLLL if your willing to pay that much you'd certainly be willing to pay 13,500... and if he agrees to it just keep upping it on it until he finally just says... fark it! lol

Well, I was willing to go as high as 9000. But If I am going to spend that kind of I could really Deck out my 70 Charger. Future project that has been on the backburner for around 7 years. I could easily get a hemi and Joe0Dirt this thing around for a while.

Well, he wasted your time. Can you afford to waste his? Set up a deal, and blow it up at the closing table! Bwahahah! walk away and let him know its cause he was an *******!!! delay a few times, change the time of the meeting, just throw his week into chaos to do this deal, then pull the pin and say F$^^ YOU!
