4 speed crank
its already drilled for the 4 spd. all cranks were steel until mid 1972, then they went to cast cranks, to cut down on build costs. unless the car was slated for a manual trans after 72, the cranks werent drilled. so yes you can use the 4 spd w/the auto crank for your 66.

Just throwing this out there, but were the hemis internally balanced. Might he need a flywheel balanced to match the motor, or a neutral balanced unit? I've just heard things about mismatching externally balanced motors and flywheels. I'm not saying this may even be an issue for you, but its best to check and ask first.
the hemi's were internally balanced. The only difference, I think, is that the hemi had an eight bolt crank [number of bolts holding the flywheel on] as opposed to the 440 that had the six bolt crank. so you gotta use the correct flywheel. If you use the "hemi" four speed. [as some call it] you must use the correct hemi bell housing that matches the front bearing retainer of the hemi 4 speed. the "hemi" four speed had the 18 spline input shaft as opposed to the regular one that had the 23 spline.
