440 compression/nitrous question

Have a 440 stroking to 512 from 440 source...wnat to know what compression ratio I should be shooting for with 906 heads milled, p&p'd, valve job, etc... I think I need to go dish but have 2 sizes to choose from, -17 & -27. Obviously I am trying to get the highest cr allowable with my current setup but with the nitrous (150-200 shot) not sure how low I should be going. Help is always appreciated

Nitrous doesn't mind compression the way forced induction does. There are a few things to remember. Forged, everything. Best quality parts. NEVER RUN LEAN, start rich and work your way down. I'm using diamond pistons, they custom made these for me pretty quickly. Have your rings lowered this will help strengthen the top of the piston at the first ring land. They also made the tops a little tougher. Back your timing off, the amount of retard will depend on the amount of spray. (talk to your nitrous manufacturer)

Have a blast! (oops)
