I finally got around to stripping my front end off my dart, and a while ago I bought a fiberglass front end for it (fenders,hood) new from a company that I found online. But I set the fenders up on the car and they don't look like they will work, they are missing the dish where the headlight sits and back by the door it doesn't sit right. Also the hood came with smaller springs for the hood hinge, and im going to have to grind alot to make them work. Has any one had experiance changing over to fiberglass? a

 

they are brand new fenders there are no holes or any place for the headlight. I think im just going to try to sell these and keep looking for some metal fenders

 

Your best thing to do would be buy new fenders. Be it fiberglass, or metal.

Just look around, and I'm sure you'll find a set of fiberglass ones that are COMPLETE.

 

does any one know if any one makes aftermarket metal fenders for this car? all I can find is the fender patch

 

Depending where you are try the following. Mill Supply or Jimsautoparts or Cross Canada Autobody. Just google any of those names. Good luck.

 

Got a hold of them and they said " no plans to start making complete dart fenders enless the demand gets high" so does any one have any 68 dart fenders, at least the driver side?

looks like to me they are missing the headlight bracket which usually comes with the dart fb fender if you ask for them when ordering but you might want to call the place you got them from and ask if they have the bracket ,, but fiberglass is easy to work with so you should be able to make them work for you but you could just need to sand the door edge a bit and line it up to fit right with body washers and such but i would try before you try and find some other fenders as they are hard to come by
