I just purchased (this week!) a 69 GTX convertible and looking for some build information. Thought some members here might provide some insight. Specifically how many scorch red with white top and interiors would have been made. This 69 is a numbers matching unit with a 440 and automatic transmission. I understand about 700 convertibles were made for that model year but I sure haven't seen many red/white combinations. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Yours is one of 524 with a 440 big block in it. I don't know how many in Scorch Red were produced though.
