Thats pretty cool! He lived just a couple of miles from the track we went to all summer I 64 motoplex formally Blue grass raceway.

I think its the 383 ,old guy right down the rd. has it would make a very nice restoration for someone. He said he would trade on anything that don't shoot or eat, lol..... He is wanting to sell... he said all he needed to do was put a bat. in . inside looks great.....well the whole car does really he says 60 ,000 on it he used to drive it....He has a Studebaker hes wanting the $ for. I will try & get a pic..up

The Duster is at Toms getting the works...

Holly Mollie.... I thought you were just sending the Motor to him?
Is he going to fix the electrical issue also with the gauges for you?

I am thinking now the gauges were right.
Won't know what all is needed until it gets torn down. He says top looks good & may have caught it .
Sending the block to the machine shop , Do whatever is needed.
It hasn't been apart in 10yrs. Probably 400 passes on her.
Hes pulling the motor then I am going after the body & wait....No room to keep it there..
The plan is when I get it back it will be ready! This is going to be a couple of months deal over there I am in no hurry & he seems agreeable to that...

Wow...That would be great if all it needed was just a Freshen up....

You might think about a trans freshen up also at this time?

Keep one thing in the back of your head...... With the cars combo, Lets see what happens with the engine build and see if there is something that might need to be done with the T.Q. convertor...
Just food for thought...
