76 W100 Steering Shaft issue - trying to understand ..

First off, I just signed up today and excited to be here. I bought a 1976 Power Wagon W100 back in April and finally got it on the road here last week. It required a bit of work to have it on the road but nothing I couldn't figure out.

Now I'm a bit stuck with this issue.

The steering wheel is sloppy - I thought it was the rag joint but check this video I posted on it and you'll see the issues pretty clearly.

Problem is, I dont know anything about the steering and the books I am using http://cdn.ceo.ca.s3-us-west-2.amazo...0f8g-books.jpg didnt really help me out as the images are hard to see and Im not even sure what the name of these things are.

Can someone explain what I am looking at. Looks like a set screw is missing. When I bought the truck, the horn and cover was missing so I assume they tried to fix this issue and made it worse.

Had the safety inspection done and everything is good such as ball joints, control arms, tie-rods etc. I know a bit about old vehicles but bought this to learn so Im sure the truck doesnt even have some of the things I just said.
Im flying solo here though so I thought Id reach out to the community for some support.

I have a buddy on the other side of the country who helps a bit but doesnt know much about the steering either.
This pick compares his truck's steering shaft and mine http://cdn.ceo.ca/1ds0fee-truck.png

I tried searching this but had a really hard time finding the information.

Best regards;

Nothing wrong with it.... Looks like it is working just fine. The boot could use replacing. Tighten up the gear box or replace any loose steering parts... Looks good to go... :)
Welcome to the site... Looks like a nice project !!
