Accel Universal wires

I just bought a set of accel universal spark plug wires and it came with a set if crimping jaws, I was wandering, how does one go about using them? Because I dont have a crimper(and the last set of universal wires I made was with a wire stipper, they didnt come out bad, but I dont want to rig this set).

Read the instructions...either squeeze them together in a vise or even hit it with a hammer. I have done it both ways.

The directions aren't very clear it just says to use accel wire clamps but you could also use the jaws which are a much cheaper alternative except you need toy use a vice with them.

Put the bottom half on the jaw on the ground...concrete...put the wire in and place the top jam on and hit it hard with a hammer...two people are best at that. If you have a vise put the bottom jaw and in the vise and repeat above procedure. One person is needed.

A-

You might find it easier if you put the bottom half in a metal vise so the "bumps" stop it from sliding down and then set the vise resting on a hard surface. Lay the wire and connector in the recess and hold the top half over the wire. Once lined up, hit the back of the top half with a hammer - good luck.
