Here's the deal. I have a 64 Newport that is a factory 3 on the floor. With Mauve interior. All the fender tags match the color both inside and out.. But the other codes are a mystery. I was told the car was (Special) ordered. But on the surface it appears to just be A stock Newport. The rear end seems to be (Lower) geared than the stock. I only say this because at 60 mph your at enough rpm. The adds for the car say it got 20 mpg. Look it up... Mine gets about 11.? And it is tuned and running properly. No leaks and not using anything... Including coolant. I have the build sheet for the car... I found it in the back of the back seat.. (Where it should be) for this year. I will upload a copy for diagnosis???? Any help would be appreciated..
