Thumbs down

It sound's like they went outside to make sure the physical car vin matched the registration vin.
Big brother Don't believe you!
Of coarse you fear, the most which you are and the government is defiantly dishonest. and shady!
We should be checking them this way!

Yes, I have a vehicle with no Title, Purchased from parts yard and it needs this inspection for a new one.
From what I can tell after entirely being assured all would be fine and no problems by the seller and other sources, That I'll be getting a Salvage Title in the end...

Of course this isnt set in stone, But Signs are pointing that direction.

Was just wondering if anyone else has purchased a car from PickNPull or other "Wreckers" and how that turned out with the Title and Inspection.

I don't even think I could pay like $500 online to get a "Quick Title" at this point.

And how does the Selling/Registering out of state thing work? Sounds risky and complicated...

Most likely your stuck with the car if you can't get a tile it's dead in the water.
Can you apply for a re-builders title or is it too late for that?

I can get a title, Its just likely to be a "Salvage Title" simply because it came from a PickNPull/Wrecker. Lame, So very lame.

im sorry to hear that
man that suck's i never had luck with buying a car from a salvage yard or a pick and pull, they said it wasn't worth it so they would never sell me a car accept for salvage.
my brother says you need to find a piece of junk parts car/with title for sale buy it and take the vin from that and swap it

That was an option I was coming up with also, And could be done any time down the road. I'm not sure how legal is though, heh.

Inspection is scheduled for the 16th, And I need to go get some paperwork at the DOL by the 4th~So I can try and get some more info while I'm there also.

I'm going to play off/not mention where it came from at all unless they force it out of me.

Well my VIN checks keep coming up clean and even showing the wrecker sent a notice if sale (They had 5 days max to do so, And did) VIA a response from a DOL guy, But then he followed up with "The system is backlogged" and it would show up eventually.
I'm feeling like it won't with what the wrecker keeps saying and that the notice of sale already showed...
But! the DOL guy also followed up that they would just add it in anyway when I go in and when they see the paperwork which sounds extremely lame.

I'm going in on Tues/Weds with ONLY my DOL/State Bill of Sale Paper, And see what they say then. And if it would be possible to get an affidavit of loss or something similiar.
I'm scheduled for the inspection on the 16th/Jan.

I've pretty much exhausted every route that isnt illegal...
So it's either gonna be Branded or it isnt. Can't do anything about it. I'll live with it. Likely holding a grudge with the DOL/DMV, But still.

And in this state you can bring a Salvage/Rebuild up to a Rebuilt, Of which I would then be able drive without any issues.
Just have that retarded un-deserving Brand/s on the title forever.
