Gawd.. Yeah those are the old aftermarket, "Wire Wheels". They originally had a spoke basket that bolted on from a center stand. There is no provision or anyway to put any kind of baby moon hub cap on them. In other words he has HALF a set of wheels, not having the baskets or the center pieces.
those.. i searched high and low for a pic of them to put with my original reply, but could not find one..... I saw more wire wheels looking than i care to remember...
