Unhappy battle vs 09 camry

i had a battle in my 65 coronet vs a 09 camry on friday and I won. His whole front fender is jacked up but my side rear door and rear wheel well is pretty twisted up. what happened was i was going on a twisty rock road and i was on a turn and as i was turning a 10 year old kid in a 09 camry smashed into my side. Its going to be fixed next weekend, the kids dad is paying for the damages.

My brother when he was 13 tried to drive my grandma's 05 Camry into the garage. He tried to drive through the wall also. XD

no the 10 year old really was, the dad claimed that the kid was practicing but where i live its not uncommon for unlicensed kids or teens to be driving. half of my friends dont even have licenses.

My 12 year old baby sitter decided to take my ramcharger for a ride one afternoon, while we were gone, oh yeah, she took my kids with her. she logged a few miles on it before she brought it back. when we got home, the seat was way up. that tipped me off, I asked about it, she confessed, i fired her called her parents, they acted like it wasnt a big deal. I wanted to tear some a$$ then. man , so now we just dont go anywhere.

that woulda mad me mad too, but you cant let that be a reason not to go anywhere. but today i went over to the guys house who crashed into me. I though we were gonna go find a shop but when I got there he said to follow him down the street to his brothers shop. It was just a really big garage, i was thinking "oh no, gonna try to do a cheap home job". i was going to tell the guy to just go to a shop but I just said f it and let him and his brother work on it. at first all the drilling and pounding had me worried but in the end after some metal shaping and bondo, it looks pretty good. I got 2 back tomorrow so they can finish and paint.

got it done today, dropped it off at the guys house before school and got it back earlier, it looks real good, i even got my front fender ive been putting off fixed. now just gotta bust out the rollers again and get her all painted up, i was thinking of removing my chrome trim, its not in the best condition, then i was thinking of just filling the holes then smoothing it out since im gonna be painting anyways, any thoughts, who says i should keep the trim and who says I should remove it and sell the trim for some extra ??

Ill go w/ gtx on this one. thats alot of fender man, the trim breaks it up. you take it off, Im afraid you wont see the break up of the body, just my 2 cents. the repairs look great. as long as your happy with them. its your car though babe, do as you feel you want to do.

the car has a hard straight line under the trim, so maybe it will help out the fender, idk yet though. rr69half that "babe" comment throws me off?

It's always a risk out there and if it makes you feel any better-check out this story. This poor guy got zero compensation.
