I have a 66 Coronet with a 318 poly and a loud knocking noise was coming from the bellhousing. It turned out to be a broken flexplate. The instructions for the new one say that other problems cause them to break. It lists worn crankshaft thrust bearing and torque converter balance. How can these be checked and repaired? Thank you.
