Does anybody know where I can buy an Engine that would approximately
produce about 600HP and cost less than $10,000, would prefer mopar, but any other suggestion are welcome.

Thanks Much.

Ya know, I've never really cared about hp#'s. What is your performance goal? Some of the new stroker kits from 440source and Muscle motors really interest me. 500-550 hp is very doable. Seems though when you talk 600hp you kind of jump the fence into a much more expensive neighborhood. Do you plan on doing any engine work or assembly youself, or do you want a turn-key, pre-dynoed set-up? A solidly built stroker, built with NOs in mind, could reach your goal. Just my opinion.

What is the motor going in and what is the vehicle going to be used for?

My goal is more than 500hp/500tq at the rear wheels. Want to get turn-key engine (I calculated all the parts that I need and it looks like it's better to get turn-key engine than to assemble it. NO NOs, I want it pure, without any turbos/superchargers or NOs. I was talking about getting Chevy 496ci engine in my previous Thread, but nobody likes putting Chevy motor in Mopar car. And I agree, but it meets my goal. Any opinion on that.

Thanks

It's going into 70 Challenger, go to my "profile" to see pics. And on the count of what it's going to be used for I'm still not sure, most likely for street, but since the car is so heavy, I want it to get at least 4-5sec 0-60. If you look at this way the new challenger is 5sec 0-60.
