Cam for a stock 2bbl 318la

Looking for recommendations on a Cam for a stock 318la with stock intake, heads, 2bbl Carter with hooker headers. Not looking.for power gain but want that nice lope sound at idle. Thanks

There is a Hughes Whiplash that is designed to do that but I've read some complain about the driveability. I have used and recommend the Comp Cams XE 252 H, no "lope" but muscle car idle "rumble" with great off idle to top end power and great driveability.

ummmmmmmmm, be careful with that... cams are supposed to give power and if you go to big (too much lope) you can lose vacuum and all kinds of other issues.
