cool sighting

There's a mostly vacant lot near my place that usually houses a pretty cool bus.
Yesterday there were some other fun vehicles there, including this fancy 62 imperial.

the passenger window was open. Hope someone closed it or covered it because it was pouring last night.

Hmm, a car I forgot to put on my list. I used to have a '59 Crown Coupe with the 392 Hemi... I saw it advertised in the paper as a parts car, and I decided to buy the car and remove the engine so I could use it in my Demon. But the car turned out to be very clean and rust free (too clean to part out). I needed a truck, so I ended up trading the Imperial for a '69 4 speed El Camino. Now I know that I came out the loser on that deal. The El Camino died shortly after I got it due to a failed oil pump...

I have a guy pretty close to me that has a 56 ot 57 hemi imperial still has the 4 barrel 392 in it. He is trying to sell it for $1,500.00. But it has been parked for many many many many many times infinity years lol. I am still considering buying it, but the car itself isn't worth much ( I dont think anyways) and I'm scared of the car cause there is usually a reason why a car has been parked for so many years, I don't want to buy the hemi if it has a cracked block or head. I have no clue how you could tell or be safe buying something that has been setting so long.
