New friends, I've come across a very nice '79 Cordoba for sale and am inclined to bring it home. It's in decent condition but has the telltale odor of coolant from the heater. I've done heater cores that were easy (Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham, early Fury), some that were not too awful (Lincoln Mark IV, Ford Torino), and some that made you want to go for PTSD treatment afterward ('80s Cougar comes to mind). I would never farm this out as I hate the idea of it getting butchered, so even though it's only my time at stake I'm hoping someone can give me an idea of where this job fits on the heater core scale.
