Disassembly/install manuals?
I have a 69 roadrunner I'm getting ready for bodywork in the next few months, and the shop quoted me $700 to completely disassemble the car. Now mind you the car is only a roller and all that's on it are the windows, weather seal, suspension,a few badges, and dashboard.
I don't really care bout the windows, but things like the dash and chrome trim which are not cheap nor easy to find, I'd rather not go prying at them with a screwdriver. Is there a book or manual that tells you how to remove all this stuff?

the trim on cars is held on buy small clips there are several types hell dozens of types in my body shop days we had special tools clip tools which we used to get behind the trim and pop the clip from the trim piece the tools where specific you need specialty from auto body supplier or you local tool guy Mac Snapon my tools where from mac
your car most likely has the steel clips newer models like my M body use plastic we never reused clips installed new

A pic would help, but from description, sounds a little steep to me.. Have to figure the hours involved and per hour rates..... If its as stripped as you say shouldnt be but 2-3 hours to pull glass, the weatherstripping and a 'few badges'.... Doubt that they will pull the whole dash assy.
That said if it were me I'd pull glass/weatherstripping myself.... Suspension is a toss-up... if its going on a rotisserie it comes off, if not it can stay. M2C

The guy said his shop rate is $65 a hr and that to remove all the above would probably be a 1 day job so around 600.
I'm leaving the suspension on because the car needs to be rotisserie sandblasted, windows and weather seal I'm junking, but I wanna save the chrome trim and get it rechromed so I'd rather not damage it. And the dash needs to be removed too.
