exhaust manifold repair

ok, so I found a pretty good crack on my exhaust manifold on the 225. I know that I've got to get a new one or have the old one welded, but would that "Quicksteel" work to fill the crack until I can get it welded or replaced?

I'd say go ahead, a replacement should be easy to find or maybe time for a header.

FOLLOW the directions Failure to use the correct hardware will result in another cracked manifold

well,I think I'm hosed on this one. it appears that the crack is all the way around and once I remove the manifold the horn will be separated from the rest of the body. guess im looking for a used one somewhere. I was told that the late 70's and early 80's exhaust manifolds will fit. any idea if that is true?
