found my 413

...finally....picking it up tomorrow!!

So excited!

Awesome deal, will need a basic tear-down for inspection and see what all needs to be done, but the price was exceptional and the motor is complete from intake to exhaust to flex plate.

Nice motor out of an Imperial, forged crank, etc etc.

I'm pretty damn excited so now today's chore list seems endless and boring...

So I guess this also means it has been decided which car gets the work done this winter...

It was a toss-up between the chop and paint on the 53, or the motor/trans and front end (and maybe the bodywork and paint) on the 67.

Well F me running, now I gotta swap in ANOTHER new fuel sending unit and put in new lines on the 67. Again. I'm getting good at it I guess. sigh. Oh well, got friends with small blocks and I'm sure someone would be happy to take my SS sending unit off my hands.

it's good to be back! having nothing going on makes it hard to post anything of interest.

I'm terribly excited now....so if anyone in my neck of the woods knows of a four speed for sale....

I'll get some pics tomorrow at pickup and will get some when we tear it down (tbd when that happens).

why a new sending unit ???? if it's just a stocko 413 a std 5/16 unit should would work fine . Mancini sells a 3/8 or 1/2 " sending unit for the same price as 5/16th & with a hi vol mechanical fuel pump with pressure regulator it will work fine .
