The weather has played a bit of a factor. Either wet and rainy or too nice I end up jumping on the bike. We have pondered the idea of trading in ZJ but not planning on getting rid of it as of yet. It is my daily driver and I just wanted to run it a few times to see the difference my improvements have made. Build is almost done and then it will just be the grocery wagon. Crappy weather stuck around all day so another day gone and nothing accomplished.

Weather has been terrible here too, I’m glad I’ve got the chassis to work on with heat. Shawn’s got our 2 pc bath tore up, soon I’ll have to start working on the house with him as we’re planning a big reno. I use to like doing that stuff but not now. It wouldn’t be so bad if both my sons would work together like in the past but they had a huge blow up that I don’t think they can come back from.

Today is is do nothing and recover day.

Well I guess it is morning so I'll have to comment on yesterday. Saturday morning the boy and I went to Cedar Falls Ia. for two reasons, one he saw his great grand parents on his mom's side and we spent the afternoon a the drag strip. The boy is seven now and for the first time he went up to a bike racer and asked him about his bike without me.
He loves bikes and wants one to no end bu he's just going to have to settle for his electric scooter for now. The racing was good, cars fast, racers friendly and the weather perfect.

He should be old enough to handle a 50cc. A lot of the kids bikes also have the ability to adjust governor to reduce power I believe. Awesome to see them growing out of their shell and experiencing the world on their own, what a great day. I filled up the tank to get out on the bike yesterday and pissed out a gallon from overflow hose for some reason, let it stop and then went for my ride anyway. Going to have to chase that issue down. Found a tank and fairing kit I have been eyeballing for months, seems like a good place to start to me.
Today shall be a blessed day, may you all enjoy it!

Finally getting started on the Ford project, I have so many parts to install it's nuts. But it's time I want it done so I can work on my Plymouth. First thing I've got to get the Fairlane off the ground high enough so I can get my fat *** under the car. Hmmmm ☺

Bob that would make way to much sense...........!
I'm going to do all my welding outside my shop, minny tubs and frame connectors.
Hears a question for u, I've been thinking about sliders instead of shackles for the rear springs, have you seen them on a street/strip car?

Good Late Morning Y'all..... Ok I see how this day is going to go... I'm currently wearing my Morning Coffee....

The old school ones for the Mustangs and the Falcons... Yes... Some guy love them and some guys hate them.... I'm sure you know by now that most of them folks have gone with the Cal-Tracs Monoleaf.... But I like the old school stuff myself. A lot of the time you just change the shock setting and bolt on your drag radials and race to the front...

Good Morning Y'all.... Hope yall are all doing well? Weather has been nice here in SO-CAL. Not to much to report. Kind of the same old same old. I did have to change my photo some of you might have noticed. Dam PhotoBucket. Seems like this whole web thing is getting out of control and messed up. But I guess it needs to be done. It's above my pay grade..lol

There's a point when the kids think they're smarter than the parent, but time is on our side and wisdom only comes with time.

When I was 16, I could not believe how stupid my dad was. When I turned 18, I could not believe how he got so smart in 2 years!

Well Shawn is 28, when he got home we had a chat and a big hug, tomorrow we'll work on the chassis and shop time together will do us good.

He had to pick up a car his buddy is having trouble paying him for the work he did lots of it was free but he's thinking he's being taken advantage of by people and should stop. I think he's becoming jaded and may stop caring which hurts because he's such a good caring man now, I'd just hate to see him become a me only the hell with everyone else kind of people.

Here we are hot and humid in Southwestern Ontario. Going off to check our GM’s air conditioner then in a few putting new furnace and A/C in the companies Vice President’s house and weld repair his porch swing. Doing it on company time keeping it in house. Beats a greasy kitchen ice machine I guess.
