Chris Greenhouse took the 2WD National win at Rallye Défi 2014. With codriver Billy Irvin calling the notes, the Cincinnati, Ohio, USA-based driver made a triumphant return to the winner's circle at one of Canada's toughest rallies. His Dodge Neon SRT4 escaped much of the heavy damage that adversely affected other competitors and carried him to victory.
"Strategy played an important part in this rally for us," said Chris after the event. "We needed to run the first four stages with no services in between, and they were quite rough with a large number of both loose and embedded rocks. Without giving up too much in pace, it was imperative that we kept the car from taking mechanical damage and punctures to the tires. We returned to service with no significant damage and a commanding lead that allowed us to drive very conservatively on the later stages."
After the heartbreak of mechanical failure while leading Baie-des-Chaleur in June, Chris was desperate for points at Defi. "This was a must-win event for us. We were too far behind in points to accept anything else. Now we are back in the hunt for the championship."
The team will now pack up and head west to beautiful British Columbia for the Pacific Forest Rally in October. Chris would like to thank A1 CVTech, JayRacing.com, Silco Fire Protection, Maddog STS, KW Automotive, O'reilly Auto Parts of Milford, Ohio, and Tire and Lube Express of Milford, Ohio.

If you guys want to watch one of the absolute most gorgeous rally videos ever made, look no further than the CRC's Rallye Défi broadcast. This aired nationally in Canada earlier this month. Absolutely stunning HD footage!
