Happy Veteran's day to all my brothers. I am a veteran that served the US Army during the years of 1981-1984. My basic training was at Fort Knox. My AIT was at Redstone Arsenal Alabama and my final post was at Fort Hood Texas and assigned to the 1st Cav 27th Maintenance Battalion. My MOS was 27Gulf Chapparal Missile system Technician.

my dad was in ww2. in the CBI theater, he was a military police. he was the best friend a son could have, he got me started in drag racing, at the first national drags at great bend KS , 1955. RIP.

 

i served int the corps. from Dec. 27 1999- Dec. 27 2003. mos was 6531 aviation ordnance. hueys and cobras. i served with the world famous Gunfighters and hmm 364 purple foxes during operation iraqi freedom.
