Having trouble deciding...
I got a choice to make, Im getting ready to move onto a new car and having trouble deciding which car. Its between either a 1971 Plymouth Duster or 1971 Dodge Demon, both with 340's and both run but need a good restoration. I know they are practically the same car, but Im having a heck of time deciding which to buy.

two door first gen... it would be called a neodemon with a M with the downward arrows and i was having a cocept of the dodge emblem done where the ram would be a skeleton breathing flames and have it blown up on the hood... i was gonna put a R/T mag motor in with an upgraded computer and a cam

Go with the one with the better floors and frame, both cars are awesome little screamers.Got any pics of either one? What do they have for options? The Demon has lower production figures, but the Duster has more readily available body parts (2 years vs. 1 for the Demon). I have owned 11 Demons, one being a 340 car, and I currently own a '70 340 Duster. I would much rather have a Demon, but it really comes down to personal preference and taste.

If you're not married, find a car girl. Store it there. ~smirk~
I have 5 acres, but I also have horses. It's a constant battle I have with myself....what goes where, what else can I have...where will I put all this stuff?? If I get rid of THIS horse trailer and just keep the other one....I could buy that parts car and put it there....~sigh~
So do you have pics of both? Tell us more about them? I'm not a huge fan of either model (I'm a B Body fiend), but I do think the Demon taillights are very stylish. Other than that, it makes no difference to me, so I be very objective here. Now if the choice was between...say a Demon and say....a Coronet? Then I couldn't be objective AT ALL!
So what are the good and bad points of each of these two specific cars? Do you have photos?

i went back out to see the demon today, couldnt get any pictures because of the angle of the sun, but i did learn a little more about it. the original 340 that it comes with is just the bare block. the other problem is the previous owner installed a power steering box and made the steering column 5 inches longer, making it a pain to sit down in, what would be the easiest way to fix this?
