Thank you for your reply TVLynn. I'm fairly certain I could scrap them for more than that lol... I thought maybe since the cars are whole that they could be worth something. I do realize that they are A LOT of work to restore but maybe I could sell them for parts?

Again thanks for the reply I appreciate any feedback at all

$$ cars

Part them out on e-bay. The Roadrunner hood is desireable, clean it up and have pics of both sides. The side mirrors bring good $$, if remote are woryh more, The headlight bezels also are good sellers.
Worth more in parts than whole.

Just my opinion, but here in wisconsin those cars are still worth money, If they were mine I would post them on here and craigslist for 1500 for the 318 car and maybe $2,000 for the 400 car. Alot of guys I know pay good money for the 400 motors and I just sold a 318 for $675 granted it was running. Just my 2 cents, whatever you do please do not scrap them!

Last thing i wanna do is scrap 'em but money talks and if the guy at the scrap yard says 800 and nobody wants to pay more than that for them ... they will be junked.

I'm in New Jersey. I think i may just take your advice. I really appreciate the help. I'm more of a chevy guy myself but not quit as auto savvy as i should be... especially with old cars in this kinda shape.

all input is greatly appreciated please keep it coming!

Heres M2C, run an ad on CL for the pair, The NE winters have been hard on them, BUT if ya have the paperwork for both and only going to get 8 for em, why not toss an free ad up and start em @ 12-1400 obo.. ya might be surprised. Patience is the best thing to have right now on them because they are as rough as they are... Have a good evening...

I agree with this statment the cars arnt worth much the way they are. I cant imagine getting any more than 2000 tops for either one maybe more like 1000 to 1200 for the first one. good luck

Seems to be the popular opinion and most likely the best route.

My buddy recently bought a 69 chevelle, the frame was solid but the body needed new floorpan, trunkpan, core support, front fenders, front clip, hood and quarter panels. Interior was shot needs new seats, headliner, carpet plus misc parts. There was no motor or trans and he paid $1000. Dont give them away you are sitting on some money regardless of anyone tells you.
Your area is much like mine weather wise and all the old cars take a beaten but they are still worth money just look in some of you local auto sales papers and you will see.
My same buddy has been buying parts and they are not cheap, he paid $500 for a 396 block alone, so start high you can always come down but you cant go up. Trust me I sold cars for 12 years and there is an *** for every seat, just advertise them and they will go.
