PURCHASED A CLEAN 65 DART WITH 360, NO VIN TAG SO I NEED PARTS CAR WITH TITLE OR HOW ELSE CAN I TITLE THIS THING. I WORK AT A ROD AND RESTORATION SHOP AND HAVE BUILT TWO MAGAZINE SHOT TRUCKS WANT TO BUILD SOMETHING FOR STREET AND STRIP HAVE ALL PARTS AND TIME BUT NEED TITLE FOR SUMMER, THANKS

 

If you could find the vin (which should be on the door/ door post I believe for the 65), most states will issue a title after a search has been done to determine if the car has not been stolen. Other than that you might be able to get whats known as a builder's title. yoy will have to ask at your local registration office as to the legalities of the state you live in. I have a dash for a 64 but I believe the vin is on the door post for the older mopars. BTW, I just tossed the dorrs to the scrap cause I couldn't find anyone who wanted them.
