think you know chrysler transmissions? do you know the start of the Torqueflite? this read is not short but worth the time. ever hear of Howard Simpson? if you like our beloved torqueflite you should.

bob is right 1956 the first torqueflite. but not in the chrysler, dodge, ply. but in the imperial. castiron ver. the aluminium ver is very much like the castiron ver on the inside.

Moe, That is a sure sign of old age...You forgot the most important part of the thread...The WRITE UP...Awsome I love it.....I thought I was the only one who did that kind of stuff......Thanks Moe & Howard it was good reading...Its funny how much stuff comes from Ford over to Chrysler...(back in the day) Now they use the foriegn companies...Has anyone driven the new Dart?? They gave me one for a loaner the other day Dart Ralley 2.0 direct injected...It sounded pretty nice with the dual exhaust...Fun little car but I would never buy one..(to small)....It is a glorified Neon...I am not a small car person..6'4" 250lbs..guy ...Bill

Arched rear wheel opening on a C Body?
Has anyone ever seen this before? I have had several C bodies and never seen one with a high arched rear wheel opening. Here is the ebay link.
