Do the companies now take the horsepower at the rear wheels or at the flywheel?
I know that in 72, all the companies switched to bhp.
But, 2011 predicted hp2011 predicted torque2011 predicted mpg

are the numbers in () the bhp, and the other numbers the hp at the flywheel?

the 420 (569) has about 33% differance so im asumming you are correct, flywheel, and rear wheel

 

so are the numbers that they are telling us at the rear wheels?

 

i search the web, and what im getting is flywheel hp,

 

that's what i was thinking
so the companies aren't telling us the bhp in the commercials

 

no, i thought in 71,72 it was mandatory to rate at rear wheel?

but maybe they have to report the bhp to the insurance companies, and they try to fool us with the flywheel hp on t.v.?
