How much can i safely machine off a magnum head valve base pocket

Hey all
I want to run a solid roller cam which has a lot of lift .609 in my 360 magnum. From memory they have a installed height of 1.65 so to run the springs to get the pressures I need I need a slightly taller installed height.
I have heard the magnum heads are prone to cracking so what's the safe amount I can take off the spring pocket if any at all?
cheers
Or does anyone know if there are retainers available to improve install height.

I believe most aftermarket suppliers have + 0.050 keepers and retainers, which will help a little.

Thanks guys
Longer valves are an option if I cant machine the pockets.
I have tried to find + 0.050 keepers and retainers but cant find any at all.
The magnum seems to have an uncommon size valve. 8mm
If anyone know where I can get them please let me know.
Thanks

I have only heard not much, maybe .050" max.

Around here there are lots of cracked ones to cut in half. Maybe a call to a machine shop might find a failed one.

Good idea but they are rare in Australia as no vehicle was ever released with one here.
I will keep hunting around
Cheers
