Ive not been very active posting lately, as ive been dealing with some health issues, and then a very busy summer. I was the best man in two weddings, one in PA and one in miami...and the miami wedding was hotter than hell.

Also, we got the mirada back together, and took that and the demon to the mopar world finals in norwalk ohio.

This was the first time back on the track for the mirada since the blow up, and this was the first time for Amanda (my wife) running the demon at the track. She has run the stratus and her 94 ram, but this was her first time in a car that could break into the 13s. with the 509 cam, it ran 13.50s, but we had a cam problem and changed to the 484. i was hoping to break into the 13s with that cam, and i was shocked (and happy as hell) when she ran a 13.58 saturday afternoon. that night, she dialed 13.58 for elims, and her first run was against a charger dialed 8.88. This was her first bracket race in the car, and only her third run in the car. Here is a video:

so, she left off just past the 1000' mark and coasted through with a 13.56...the car would have gone well into the 13.40s, wide open...all in all, she did an awesome job, with her first time having to shift a car or deal with a high stall converter.

the mirada had a decent weekend, with my dad driving. it was in the 12.50s all weekend, and ran a best of 12.51 at something like 105. the previous best was a 12.47 @ 107ish...but there is an issue with the brakes, not letting the car launch as high as before. when i ran the 12.47, i was launching around 4000rpm, but now the brakes wont hold past 3300 or so...i think that the new engine has lots of potential.

WOW! sounds like you have been real busy. Its good to hear that you have still have time to get out and get some racing in though.
