Wow, thanks for sharing that link. It was very interesting. To be honest, I never heard of her, but it looks like she was one hell of a racer, and a looker too! Wouldn't that be cool to answer some local ad and take that car home for a couple of K???

I remember watching her racing in the late 60"s and early 70"s in the SS Barracudas... She wasn't as well know as Shirley Mueldowney(sp) but she was just as feared... I saw her put a "hole shot" on many an unexpecting SS racer... I was also glad to see her along with Big Daddy unveil the two original Challenger Drag Pac cars at the 2008 Denver Mopar Milk High NHRA Race...

This is cool to have her car restored.... She is a positive part of Mopar history for sure!!!!!

her ex-husband who built all her cars has a mopar machine shop in town here - he built my slant...

i dont know about you guys. but that roadrunner in that blue roadrunner looked pretty damn sexxxy to me!

I've actually met the guy who now owns this car. a looong time ago (I used to live in FL) He has a TON of 66-67 mopes. (and parts) Lots of Hemi's. Nice resto work.

Yes, Jim Drain owns this car. I met a guy in Nashville who is friends with him and we had that discussion this weekend.

It's a really cool car and hooray! It's also a 2 door post, so I especially like it.
