Looking for lost car......
Hello everyone,
Sorry if the title was misleading. I am looking for my lost car but, it is a car that I sold several years ago. The basic story is this, I was the second owner of a 1972 Challenger, blue(B5?), black vinyl top, black int,318,auto,ac. I got this car in the early 80's when I was in high school. I kept the car until about 8 or so years ago. I sold it to my wifes uncle who lives in a small eastern North Carolina town near Roper and Columbia. He kept the car for a couple of years then he sold it.Before selling it, he removed the vinyl top. The person he sold it to was from TN and saw the car in his back yard while they were visiting here in NC. Neither of us has yet been able to come up with the VIN although we are still looking.
This was my first car. I am now in a position to put the time, effort and money into it to restore it properly. If the above story sounds familiar or maybe if the mystery buyer is you or a friend, PLEASE let me know. I would be very interested in finding out where this car is now what condition it is in and, if it would possibly be for sale. I know this is not much info and I am trying to track down the VIN.
ANY info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
