At a loss
At a loss
So this may not be the place I need to be looking but I need some advice on old original mopar parts. My father was an avid mopar man and recently passed away. He has owned quite a few mopars and Dodges over the years and I grew up watching him under the hood. The challenge I face now is that I have been left with everything he owned and I don't know what is what. I wish I listened better when he told me what this stuff was for. some stuff is labeled and obvious but other stuff not so much. I know my dad hung on to this stuff for the value but I am having a hard time researching some of it because I don't know what it's called. Does anyone have advice on how I can research these parts and tools? My husband wants to have a yard sale but I feel that is not the right way to approach it. I would much rather see these hard to find parts go to someone who loves Mopar as much as him. Also, my dream car since I was 16 was a 1969 Dodge Superbee. Well my dad blessed me with a 1969 Dodge Cornett about 10 Years ago. We had plans to restore it but since his health declined that did not happen. I don't know what goes to my car and what doesn't.
Welcome.
I would search a local car club cruise night, talk to some people and see if someone or better a couple or few people could have a look and guide you.
I like your attitude, if you have a Mopar club, making a few bucks is good but making sure it goes to a good home is best. Be careful some of the stuff could be very valuable and some might tell a story to get it cheap or free to sell for profit.
