Question Megasquirt EFI?

I'm laid-off now and have too much time too think. Come across some stuff on the net about a stand alone, home built efi system using a megasquirt controller and alot of off-the-shelf and junkyard parts. I've developed a hatred of carbs lately and wonder if anyone has heard of this setup, or has any other info. Thanks Guys

Yes it is supposed to be a great set up. My buddy is putting it on his Omni and is looking to made HUGE tunable power with it. Post a question for "fishcleaner" over on www.Crazy4Carz.Com and he can tell you all about it.

Thanks crazy, I'll give him a try. I'm just tired of doing "the dance" with the gas and hoping the damn thing starts. Its worse than trying to stARt my 73 shovelhead harley! Cant believe that with all cars being injected since 86 that we cant find a way to cobble all the parts to a working injection system. I'm a sparky by trade and know PLC,and thats all it really is. Just logic statements to a processor to fire an output.
