hows the barracuda restored un restored barracuda's are neat 70-74 are my choices but what ever you like is up to you both are really good cars around here you dont seem to see a whole lot of cudas or barracudas of any year dusters there are a few but like i said either choice is a good car

It all depends what the other car is in for condition compaired to yours, do you want to get rid of your duster, how much work is needed...... thiese are just some of the questions you've got to ask. A big one is "Why does the guy want to trade?" Is it a straight up trade or is envolved?

Im waiting on an email back.
From what it sounded like Barracuda is fine.
Ill post some pictures when i get them.
But the way im thinking.
Duster is a cool LOOKING car its been alright been some problems with it too and it will take time and money to fix and a lot of work to get some power out of the slant 6 (really just don't have the time frame to not have a car while i do an engine swap)
And than the barracuda with the 383 even if it runs just ok after i put some time and money into that look at the power aka fun potential compared to the duster.
Im just trying to grasp situation as a whole and look at the long term and what not talking usually helps.

30 miles away i guess assuming he is where he says he is.
Idk
I get fed up real quick trying to work out deals with idiots so im probably keeping the duster.
At least for awhile.

Yeah,
You got to wonder:
1. Why would someone want to trade? (What's really wrong with it?)
2. Any Mopar is cool but, in the general public view, Barracuda's are valued more so why would this person take the loss?
If you keep your Duster and make it the way you want it, just think of how proud you will be when you tell everyone that you put the car together!!
Trust me, it's a good feeling.

I just traded my 70 Duster 340 for a 64 Polara with a 440. It was a great transaction, you just have to research and make sure the person isn't a D^#*Head. Get as many pics as you can, ask to hear it run, if you cant see it or drive it in person. Make him post a youtube video of it running and driving. Just some ideas. I have been hosed before but learned my lesson as well

i agree with mopar 71 about the feeling of having the pride in working on your own car and making it the way you want it, i'd ask the guy to take you and the cuda to a auto shop and have it looked over and if he says no then it probly isnt worth it.
