so my weekend was alittle strange... so i was driving friday to pick up my friend so we can leave for the captial. so as we were going to the church...its a trip btw. i started to hear nosies from the hood. so i looked and not hing really happend..until sunday. so i was driving to take him home adn i turned the car off. then he told me my antifreeze was leaking. so i looked and it went everwhere. so i was driving home and it was over heating. so i stopped and let my car cool off. and i added water.. 5 seconds later the water was falling through the engine. i looked and got a wreaker so they said it was the water pump. and the belt ripped out from the altenator. so yeah. thats my weekend.. but im thinking maybe its something alittle more serious. any comments?

 

or...did you just throw a belt and it leaked because it was overheated. as asked above, does the pump turn, does it wobble and it it leaking from under the bottom of the pulley?

 

we had them put a new water pump. it actually sounds alot quieter than before
