Well today driving to school, i was on a four lane highway with businesses on both sides. I was coming up on a dunkin donut shop and some kid ( who didnt even have his license for a month) decided it would be a good idea to get some coffee this morning. He was on the other side of the highway so naturally he had to cross both lanes in the direction i was headed. He cleared the first lane but unfortunately, i was in the second and i was roughly 10 feet from his car doing about 30.....at least he was smart enough to admit fault to the officer who showed up.

I think they will probably try to total your car. Glad no one was hurt and try to save the old girl.

 

That sucks, no matter that he admitted fault you will come out on the short end. Push his insurance Co for what you think is a fair settlement. DON"T take there first offer. Try and keep the car could be used for parts if it is not repaired

 

ohh mann that sucks i feel for you i m sure allot of us on the forum have had similar i had a similar accident with my 77 diplomat lady pulled right in front of me making a left i could only remove my foot from the gas before i t boned her right front fender well that was the end of that car it was my baby loved that car........................
but not as much as my wife

 

Yea they're definitely going to try and total it..the adjuster should e here today so we'll see what happens..when my brothers 71 mustang got totaled we got double what they originally wanted to give us..I'll be sure to point out all the modifications I made to it
