New Car lol
Alright so this 1979 Chrysler 300 has been just down our street ever since the original owner bought it. She died last November and her son put it on sale. After waiting for a long time he dropped the price from 3,500 down to 1,500 so I went and talked to him. Gave it to me for $800. Other than the fuel line has a slight leak it can be a daily driver. Just changed the spark plugs and cleaned the carb it runs almost awsome. No rust even though it has been outside the entire time. Has the 360 with 4barrel and dual exhaust. My Satellite is too problematic at the moment for the Labor Day Hugh School Drags so I have under two weeks to get this one ready.

Yeah if you look at the first pic the minivan is what I currently drive and I drove that twice for last years high school drags. Did pretty good with the times being consistent but unfortunately the air temp really got hot and the van started slowing down.

Great find and good luck at the drags.. Be careful..... Dragracing is more addictive than ANY illegal drug!!!! I know..... I've had it since I was 12 and I'm pushing 60 now!!!!!!!!! But its still a rush!!!!!!!! And its legal when done at the track..... Where it belongs............

Whatever you do, don't mod it too much, those E58 360 powered 300's are quite rare. Don't butcher it to put in a stereo system (or I'll fly all the way from Japan and hit you on the head), and don't throw away anything you take off of it. One of these days this car may become valuable enough to fund your children's college education.
