So I have been thinking about doing some more work on my Duster with a 340. I thought I wanted to do TTI long tube headers...then I looked at the price! Even though it seems well worth the money. Its a lot of .

I have 2.02 cast J heads on my car now, and for around $1200 I can buy new edelbrock aluminum heads.

What will be more beneficial to my cause, new headers or new heads???
~My car is just for the street that I am trying to make faster. It has a mild cam and 650 edelbrock carb. if that helps anyone.

Go for the headers. TTI are the best and fit like a glove.

 

buy headers and gasket match the ports on the heads. aluminum heads are nice but not needed

 

depending on cam you may get better results from 1.6 rocker arms and a good 2 1/2-3" exhaust system
