what do you guys think would be a safe shotto run in my satellite
from what i know
forged steel crank
mild cam
aftermarket pistons
.60 over

is it a big block? or small? forged pistons or cast or hyper?. a stock big block can take a 150 shot no prob, but you should run a high pressure fuel pump with a regulater set at 6psi to handle the higher hp.

i want to say hyper and its a big block i have a fuel pump with 7psi so like 150 would be safe and can i go 200

i have really no idea on the pistons i just know there after market i didnt have the motor my uncle did a while back and he dont remember

i wouldnt be afraid of a 200 shot at all. hyper is stronger than cast, as long as the bottem end is strong go for it. just DONT lug the engine and spray at the same time.

150 shot easy 200 shot but i wouldnt go any more with out knowing the condition of the bottom end, lugging the engine.what i mean where does the engine seem to wake up? thats when id spray it with a shot of no2. if you spray it at too low of an rpm you could (hammer)hurt your bearings

thank you for your help if you read my other post about the drag race a couple kids want to race me and i can take one for sure but the other one is a srt-4 neon so i figured a lil shot of the creature would give me the one up if he starts to run me down on the top end thanks again nate
